1st 45 half of the game ended a 1-0 for the Liverpool side with a 34th minute strike from Liverpool's C. Gakpo.
2nd half started and the winning prowess continued for Liverpool untill the 2nd goal came in from M. Salah which was a penalty kick awarded to the Liverpool side at the 51st minute, 3rd goal came in at the 75th minute from D. Szoboszlai making the score line 3 goals no nill.
However, the whole game was rounded up with a 4-0 strike from Liverpool's V. Van Dijk at the ending 80th minute.
The Liverpool side has qualified to the final stage at the Carabao Cup and they are going to play against the Newcastle side at the final stage on the 16th of March this year.
